Cairngorm Mountain – Weather permitting, ride the funicular to the Ptarmigan Station on Cairngorm Mountain. A viewing terrace reveals a sea of peaks and lochs; on clear days you can see as far as Lochnagar. If the funicular isn’t running, your guide will drive to another viewpoint such as the Rothiemurchus Forest or Loch Morlich’s sandy beach.
